Gazalle and I had a great time at the 2016 annual meeting of the Evangelical Theological Society (ETS). The three days felt more like three weeks, and we enjoyed attending numerous sessions, meeting in person a few authors whose books I have worked on, and talking with publishers and fellow editors. Plus, the people of San Antonio were great hosts—much friendlier than most Seattleites, I must say.
In addition to the talks, books are an important part of ETS. I saw many people walking out of the exhibit hall with a bagful (or two) of books. I picked up a number of recently published books, including Modern Orthodox Thinkers: From the Philokalia to the Present by Andrew Louth (IVP Academic, 2015), Ecce Homo: On the Divine Unity of Christ by Aaron Riches (Eerdmans, 2016), and Gregory of Nazianzus by Brian Matz (Baker Academic, 2016). A lot of great books are being published, and I’m happy to be a part of that.
Thanks to everyone we conversed with!
